Are you still just as mesmerized and exhilarated as you were as a little kid when it comes to flying a kite? Perhaps you have a house full of kids from little ones to teenagers who feel the same way. Good news: All kite lovers will be thrilled to attend the upcoming Atlantic Coast Kite Festival!
What Is It?
This your chance to enjoy a couple days filled with all things related to kites. You can bring your kite and fly it, enter yours in a “Best Kite Contest” for which you can possibly win a trophy, watch others fly their kites, learn how to build your own kite, and more! You’ll know more than you ever thought you could learn about kites and you’re sure to go home with a smile on your face.
When Is It?
The kite event will happen on May 5th and May 6th, 2018 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The contest happens daily from 1:30pm to 3:00pm.

This is a free festival for all!

The festival is happening along the beach between 16th and 18th streets at 17th Street Park in Virginia Beach, VA 23451.
