Invisalign is an orthodontic solution that uses clear, removable aligners, rather than permanently affixed braces, to straighten and realign your teeth.

Invisalign is an excellent option for adults who want an unobtrusive way to correct their bite, without traditional braces. Invisalign is not recommended for children.

The Invisalign aligners fit directly over your teeth, and can be removed for eating, toothbrushing, and other activities as necessary.  The key to the Invisalign system is that it uses a series of aligners to gently and gradually move your teeth into position. The number of aligners and the time required to complete treatment will depend on the type and severity of your malocclusion.

During your initial appointment, we will conduct a thorough examination of your bite, including a neuromuscular examination and a complete set of digital X-rays, to plan out the course of treatment that's just right for you.

We will then take a precise mold of your bite, which we will send to the dental laboratory to have your custom Invisalign system fabricated.

Once your Invisalign aligners are completed, we will provide you with detailed instructions on their use. In general, you will be instructed to discard your current aligner and move on to the next one about every two weeks. We will also schedule regular checkups with you during the process, to ensure that your teeth are aligning correctly, and answer any questions you may have.
