We are happy to announce that we are sponsoring and taking part in this year’s Virginia Beach SPCA’s Mutt Masquerade! If you have a soft spot in your heart for our furry friends and you have the time to head out for an enjoyable walk/run event with the community, we invite you to join. Not only will it be a blast but it’s also for a wonderful cause.
What Is This?
The Mutt Masquerade is a chance to participate in a 5k run and/or a 1-mile walk (keep in mind, your beloved pets are welcome to join, too!). Of course, as a nod to the upcoming holiday, this event will also include a chance to partake in a costume contest! (You may even offer a fur-ever home to a new pet and enjoy additional activities)!
When Is It?
The masquerade will take place on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 10am to 1pm.
Where Is It?
The event will occur at 31st Street Park on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront in Virginia Beach, VA 23451.
How Much Is It?
Remember, you will need to register (which will include entry to the event of your choosing, a goodie bag, and a T-shirt). Admission ranges from $15 to $55 per person depending on the event and day of purchase. Check the website for details.
You may pick up your bag and T-shirt during the following times at the Main Shelter:
- October 28 from 12noon to 6pm
- October 30 beginning at 9am
