If the idea of showing some love to the earth and our Virginia Beach, VA community after indulging in romance sounds like a nice way to spend your time, then you may wish to participate in the upcoming Friends Beach Cleanup!
What Is This?
If you’d like to take part in the Friends Beach Cleanup, you will be joining the False Cape’s Friends Group, which is made up of staff members, as well as volunteer individuals like yourself, who get together to help keep our community and False Cape State Park clean and healthy! All you have to do is register, show up with a lunch in tow, and prepare to help. Necessary materials will be provided.
When Is It?
Join in the clean up action on February 16th, 2019 from 9am to 1pm.
Where Is It?
You will be helping to clean up along the beach in False Cape. To join the group, simply begin at the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, which is located at:
4001 Sandpiper Road

Free! This is a volunteer event.
