What Is This?
Special Needs Under The Sea is a special event that is held before the Virginia Aquarium is open to the public. Families that include special needs kiddos or adults are welcome to enjoy all that the aquarium provides, from exhibits to checking out the amazing animals, in an environment that’s relaxing. Enjoy an experience that’s sensory friendly for the entire family, as you learn all about life under the sea!
When Is It?
Head to the aquarium on July 14th, 2019 from 7:30am to 9:00am (and stay on, if you wish, during general open hours from 9am to 5pm).

How Much Is Admission?
Admission details follow:
- Members: Free
- Non-Members: $24.95 per adult; $19.95 per child
- Caretakers: Free admission for one individual caring for one attending guest; one additional caretaker is eligible for half the cost of admission
