Virginia Beach Festival of Champions
The Virginia Beach Festival of Champions will be taking place from Thursday May 11th through Saturday May 13th at Mount Trashmore Park, on 310 Edwin Drive. You and your family can attend the event for free, and watch firefighters compete in the 2023 Southeast Firefighter Challenge Championship. You can see them use axes and chainsaws to cut through wood in a variety of competitions. Learn more here.

My Happy Place Exhibition
Your family can also check out some amazing art exhibits, including the My Happy Place Exhibition presented by the Artists Gallery at the Virginia Beach Art Center. This exhibit is on display from now through May 28th at 523 Virginia Beach Boulevard, Suite A. This is a free event that is open to everyone! Mother’s Day Live Game Show
Celebrate Mother’s Day with a live game show from Family Fun Xperience! This takes place on Saturday, May 13th at Family Fun Xperience on 206 16th Street. The event is from 7pm until 9pm, and admission is $18 for adults, $15 for military/ first responders/teachers/seniors, and kids are only $12. You can also get VIP seats too! Each ticket gets a chance to play games and win prizes, and moms get a special prize too! There are concessions and you can pre-order pizza to have during the show. Find out more here.
