Holiday Events In Virginia Beach!

virginia beach community eventsThe holiday season is here, and there are tons of fun activities and events happening in our community. In today’s blog, your Virginia Beach, VA, dentist is talking about three fun holiday events, and reminding our patients and their families to use remaining dental benefits before they expire! Now is a great time to help your family enjoy good oral health, so you can attend your Christmas events with shining smiles.

Gingerbread House Exhibit

You and your family can take in the Annual Gingerbread House Exhibit at the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum/de Witt Cottage from now through December 30th. The address is 1113 Atlantic Avenue. This is the third annual exhibit and you can take part too. The museum is open from Wednesday through Sunday from 10am until 5pm and is closed on the 24th, 25th, 26th, and 31st. You can learn more by following this link.

Holiday Lights

Visiting holiday light displays are a great way to celebrate the season. Your family can visit the Bayport Credit Union Holiday Lights at the Beach, presented by Food Lion. The event takes place from now until December 31st at 2nd Street and the Boardwalk from 4500 Holland Office Park. There are classic displays and two new ones, with a 6oo foot LED tunnel to drive through. There’s a 40-foot dancing Christmas tree, and tons of displays. You can find tickets and learn more right here.

Tree Hunt

The Holiday Tree Hunt takes place from now through the first of January, and you and your family can take part! You and your little ones can explore The Adventure Park at the Virginia Aquarium to find the hidden elves, enjoying the 17 elevated trails and zip lines along the way. The exhibit is open all month, closed Christmas Day. You can find out more here.

Use Your Benefits!

The Christmas season is here, which means time is running out to see us for an exam and treatment before the year comes to a close. If you have dental insurance benefits for 2203 and health savings account funds, you risk losing these at midnight on December 31st unless they’re used. So, give our team a call to talk about preventive visits, dental implants, or Invisalign®, so we can start care and use your benefits before they’re gone. If you have any questions about our treatment options, or about improving smiles in the days to come, please reach out to our team today to learn more.
