The Polar Plunge is a fundraising event, and there is $100 entry fee to take part. Observers and plunge participants are invited to come early and stroll the area, enjoying music, beachfront races, a costume contest, artisan marketplace, and more. The Polar Plunge has partnered with the Virginia Beach Special Olympics, and you can make a donation (or your plunge can support the Special Olympics) by registering for the campaign or contributing online.
