On Saturday, February 5, people in and around the Virginia Beach community can go out and glimpse part of the natural world during the Winter Waterfowl Birding Tour! This annual tour gives people with an interest in birdwatching a chance to see some of the many feathery visitors the area receives during the winter months. Whether this is a new hobby or a chance to meet other people with an interest in something you have long enjoyed, this is a great opportunity to learn about the natural world in Virginia Beach, and a great outdoor adventure for the weekend!

The annual Winter Waterfowl Birding Tour will take place on Saturday, February 5. Participants are asked to gather at 9 am to prepare for the trip. The tour will run until 4:30 pm.
Where:
Those who participate will meet at 350 Independence Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA to leave for the watching tour.
Cost:
Individual tickets to take part in this trip are $45.

During the tour, you can enjoy a guided tour of Northampton County to see the many birds who come to Virginia Beach during the winter. There will be a stop in a Cape Charles for lunch (not included as part of your ticket price).
