  1. Bluegrass and Brews

Bluegrass and Brews takes place every third Sunday from now through May 21st, and is hosted by Family Fun Xperience and sponsored by the Tidewater Bluegrass Music Association. This is a family friendly event, and lasts from 1pm until 3pm at 206 16th Street. Admission and only $5 and includes one drink. You can also make a reservation. You and your family can enjoy couch seating with an ocean view, drink specials, pizza, and jam sessions. If you play an instrument, you can bring it with you and join in!

  1. Historic Garden Week

Historic Garden Week in Virginia takes place from April 15th through the 22nd. You and your family can tour public hardens, historic sites, and private landscapes across the state of Virginia. There are over 1,000 floral arrangements on display from the Garden Club of Virginia. You can take part in over 29 unique tours, from Shenandoah Valley to the Tidewater beaches! See how beautiful our area can be, and celebrate Spring!

  1. Shore Drive Farmers Market

The Lynnhaven Coffee Company is presenting the Shore Drive farmers Market every Saturday from 9am until 12:25pm. Be sure to stop by 2945 Shore Drive to see everything. Admission is free, and includes vendors like B&H Produce, Full Quiver farms, Gatuex’s Bakery, and Veg Out Gardens, along with tons of other local seafood producers, farmers, and artisans. You can pick up coffee from Lynnhaven Coffee Company and a sausage sandwich from Full Quiver Farms. Check out the freshest foods and produce, and support local businesses and artisans at the same time!
